Hello!
I’m Candice, a Washington, DC based graphic designer. I am a proud alumni of Ball State University and spent my childhood growing up in the midwest.
My passion is great design, with clever details. I love adding personality and practicality to my work. Using my background in public relations, I have a user centered perspective when approaching a project. I know that good design is effortless and easy to use.
I am based in downtown Washington, D.C. and spend my free time trying new restaurants, and getting lost in new neighborhoods. Drop me your favorite spots and I’ll add them to my ever-growing list of places to visit. I am a cat mom to a fluff ball named Aspen, she enjoys sitting on my computer and watching the cars out the window while I work around her tail.

Coming into a period of revitalization I was tasked with breathing new life into a nonprofit with aging branding. Over the last few years every document, resource, publication, and marketing material has come through my desk for a unifying and cohesive new look.

Starting as an internship in college, a design partnership formed between myself and MCT. I worked closely with the team to redesign their website and help maintain it. Annually I design a collection of 15+ posters with original artwork and design the brochure announcing that year’s performances.

Public Relations Intern
When I started at the EBA they were in need of someone to help with clerical work and answering phone calls. With time I worked to re-brand their materials and give them consistency in their branding. I redesigned their monthly newsletter and continued to create it for three years.
